And they want to keep it that way. Luckily, democrats are on a roll to improve education in America, despite republican objections.

lmfao the stuff you idiots believe from your masters.

I don't have kids, and when I do, I will pay for them to go to good (read: private) schools. :cookie:

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Look at yourself and how you have developed moral character by making it all on your own. You pay for private education for your kids and they'll just grow up worthless little liberal assholes without any understanding of the link between supply and demand. You'll just breed dependency right into them by giving them a hand.

Ah well, you'll probably be telling them about how hard it was for you and how much you resent little bastards like them so at least they'll have a good case of liberal guilt to work through.

I won't be paying for my children's post-secondary education. Your argument about school (assuming you were applying it to K-12 as well) is a stretch though. Responsibility is the responsibility of adults. Children need to be raised to equip them for that when the time comes, but that doesn't equate to making them responsible for rearing themselves.

My two year old is already learning he doesn't get freebies just for asking. When he throws a toy out of the bath it is firmly told to him that "this is daddy's". If he wants a toy back after throwing it out, he knows he has to trade me for it.

Breeding cold-hearted capitalism from an early age. Oh yeah!

I went to private schools until high school. I then spent the first two years at a private university unlearning incorrect things that I learned at the public school. Not politically or historically incorrect, but logically incorrect, as calculus was the #1 thing I had to unlearn.

But it doesn't matter. By the time my kids are ready to go to school, the government will have started subsidizing private schools to the point where people like me who work for a living won't be able to send our kids to them anymore.

Ah well I guess I'm really quite educated then seeing as how I unlearned everything I was ever taught and now know nothing at all.

I'm convinced at this point that liberals simply do not believe that supply and demand are causally linked. A huge FU to all of the politicians giving my tax dollars to everyone else so they can go to school while I am giving a huge chunk of my income to pay back my private loans since I wasn't cool enough to get any from the government myself.

private loans ? you sure about that ?

btw, virtually all schools are subsidized by government money, tuition only pays part of the cost. So you rode on the backs of the taxpayers in any case.

And we don't build universities for you to enrich yourself, you're supposed to contribute to the advancement of society. So how is your resentment toward those that come after you accomplishing that ?

I thought private universities were not subsidized. Normal state universities cost maybe $5-10k per year for tuition. Private universities cost $30k per year.
