That Republicans love to play dirty politics, but cry like little girls when they get it back?

Seeing the Republicans both in here, TV and radio crying like babies has been absolutely delicious.

Been watching ratings polls? In fact I recommend you enjoy a glass of wine tonight to celebrate the tears. Enjoy it while you can. :)

Looks like GOP wants to oppose stimulus but have their constituents benefit from it anyways. They need to decide. If they don't think it's effective, they should have no problem with their districts not getting any.

That would be the first of two hypocrisies brought out in this thread. Extra cookie if someone can find the other :)

The second would be where you leftist tools defend this kind of behavior after crying about it for 8 years.

Swing and a miss. I don't see any hint of illegal activity here. Which is what us "librulz" were upset with during the previous administration. (US attorney bit, Cheney's secret energy meetings, Plame-gate, etc.)

This bit about Emanuel is really petty considering the tactics used by W's crew.

What illegal activity? Where are all the convictions? Put up or shut up.

Well, Scooter Libby for one. AFAIK, Rove is still being deposed for the US Attorney scandal. And I think there is still something going on with the torture memos.

The point is, oh comprehension challenged one, that those things needed to be investigated for illegal activity where Emanuels effort is at best ... mean?

And when the economy finally rebounds you'll be the one crying like a little bitch.

I would assume you would also be in favor of those districts not having to pay the tab as well?

I suspect Polly Adams Mervine felt the same way.
Its already happening. The Democrats have pushed for too much too fast. Wait till higher taxes hit the middle class. You know, "No tax increases on people under $250000" and all that.

Hope and change, hope and change.

HOPE Obungo doesnt CHANGE his mind too much on his campaign "promises". Hes done so well on transparency and not running up the deficit like that damned evil Bush guy did hasnt he....

Throw in the ratings polls, the town hall meetings that are quickly moving to invitation only.....

Enjoy it while you can. As for the economy rebounding, we both know thats not happening anytime soon. Unless you're still believing the propaganda the MSM is still pushing about how the Obamessiah is fixing everything.......

They can't put up because they are to busy trying to fabricate more things Bush Co. did that was illegal.
They bitched and moaned for 8 years and now that the tables are turned, they show their true colors and want others to not bitch and moan and to just get in line and take it up the ass like so many liberals enjoy.

That's it? Scooter and a deposition? That's what you've got to show for all your pissing and moaning?

Good game.

Sure, if my district doesn't have to pay tab for Iraq war that it opposed.

Rahm Emmanuel was never a member of the chicago political machine, and is now white house chief of staff. Its his job to play power politics, and Rahm is very good at it.

Its not the republirat's party and they can cry if they want to, but the miscreants that need to worry are both the bluedog democrats and the very liberal democrats unwilling to get on with the overall democratic agenda. And if Rahm can even remotely come close to the republican forte of a lock step party discipline, the GOP is heading for total obsolesce for the near term future.

And meanwhile, Rahm aims to pick off as many GOP members as possible and has the carrots to dangle to get the job done.

GOP crying, moaning and groaning will not elicit American voter sympathy and will not make Rahm go away no matter how often they preach to only their own choir.

Am I to understand that asking the governors to let him know if they don't want the stimulus money is a threat?

Could you say 'Senior Member' instead of 'Member'? It's just a thing. I worked so hard to get that title. I'd appreciate it.

PJabber, lets us all now when you get the status of diamond, platinum, or lifer so we have anything other than your previous, IMHO, sad and sorry body of previous posts.

But on the other hand, you may have a point given the times and the overwhelming political power the democratic party now has. A filibuster proof majority in the US Senate, a similar huge majority in the House of representatives, a democratic party President committed to changing the failed staus quo, and tell us all again why the democratic party should pay any attention to the republican party if they seem committed only to going back to the proven failed policies of GWB&co.

Sadly the GOP can't lead, can't follow, and why should not the democrats simply bulldoze them out of the way?

The point being, the democrats would rather not have to bulldoze the GOP out of the way, not everyone in the GOP is mentally retarded lost grip with reality, but when the collectivity GOP lock step follows the lead of the mentally retarded, what choice is there?

Why, Lemon, I did not think you cared that much!

I already promised Craig234 that I would dedicate my next 100 posts to him, particularly after he sent me a nice Private Message. He sent a tingle up my leg like you would not believe.

But, you might be a close second if I took the time to actually read your posts. The problem is, between the poor spelling, the poor grammar and the rush to judgment, I find it hard to get through more than a line or two. I promise to do better at actually reading whatever it is you write, I really do, if you will promise to work on your language.

I am a very nice guy and as you wrote me a very nice post, I will try to remember to dedicate my next upgrade in forum title status to you. But you will remind me if I forget, won't you?

BTW, the Democrats, as best as I can tell, have no feeling atall about bulldozing Republicans, Libertarians, Independents and even us poor downtrodden Classical Liberals - all of whom are, by definition, the enemy. They are making right the wrongs they felt when they were the minority party and no one took their prayers for power seriously. They are enjoying the euphoria of a one party government, yes they are!
