This. We should take all proactive measures we can to defend the integrity of the vote regardless of whose idea it was or which party it benefits or hurts. Reducing impediments for people to register to vote while cleaning up the rolls of ineligible voters, requiring voter ID while making affirmative efforts to help those without cast provisional votes, requiring electronic voting to provide a written confirmation for the voter, etc.
