Republicans flip-flop on support for Todd Aiken

Along with a growing list of Republicans now supporting Mr. Legitimate Rape, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Jim DeMint, now Aiken is being endorsed by the Republican Senatorial Committee.

Remember when all those Republicans said Aikens statement was so offensive. Now that the desdline has passed for TA to drop out suddenly his statement is not so offensive.

So Todd thinks women are making up stories of rape and can't get pregnamt during "real" rape? Ahhh not so bad cause we need to try and take the Senate.

1. There are a lot of people that agree with Aiken but knew not to shout it out.

2. The Republicans would support a Josef Mengle equivalent to gain a Senate seat. It's all about the power.

Hopefully, the big name Republicans supporting him now are exposed and will soon slip out of relevance and influence quickly.

It's already pretty embarassing for the Democrats that Akin still has a decent chance of winning. I think it might say the most about the good folks of MO though than anything else.

They really have no choice if they want to get control of the Senate. The other races are way too tight for the RNC to walk away.

Yea, I actually haven't voted for anyone in years past although I'm likely to this year. This example just goes so above and beyond that there's no hiding for the people doing it. Saying everyone else is slime isn't enough for these guys; they've gone beyond that.
