I continue to be amazed and how clueless some people are in regards to ACORN and what the difference is between a registration to vote and an actual vote cast on election day. The fact that some still "don't get it" leads me to believe they are just being purposely obtuse.

ACORN is full of community organizers like Barrack Hussein (just call me Barry) Obama that pay people to register and take the homeless off the street to help decide the outcome of the election, and everybody is a victim. They are non-partisan that's why so many of the homeless are voting Republican.

You seem to be insisting the election has already taken place and that the voting fraud has already been committed. It is hard enough to get able bodied people living in homes to get off their asses to vote on Election Day, but you are trying to tell us the results of the election have already been determined by the homeless vote? GAFC. I'll remind the group again, registration fraud != voting fraud.

Why would there be registration fraud if they weren't planning on voter fraud?

I know I'm going out on a limb but help me out here.

Sure, it often goes like this:

People are paid by the number of signatures they collect.

They sometimes put in fake names to earn a few more bucks.

Since it is a fake name, and no such person exists, there is no way this non-existant person can vote.

I hope that helps.

:)

Nice try but that looks to be nothing more than a stunt by a *gasp* democrat official trying to take the focus off ACORN. From accounts I've read, the kid really does live there when he's not traveling and uses that address for his other bills/mailings. But you libs keep trying to dig something up to divert the focus from the massive fraud ACORN is committing...

You don't mention anything about him tossing democratic registrations though.

I did(to a point) in the other thread about this same issue. If the guy committed actual fraud then he needs to be prosecuted - just like the ACORN nuts and the lib group in Ohio that has voted illegally.

Can the mods please merge the threads?

Don't count on it - its plainly too complicated. Or maybe its not too complicated - the sore losers are simply trying to cast the results of the election in doubt before its even happened! Honestly that is the real story, and it has been reported on and analyzed by others.

The problem is that you have simpletons (cough) who don't understand that registration fraud does not equal voter fraud. Both should be taken seriously, but one must pull ones head out of ones ass before that can happen. It is painfully obvious that a registered voter who doesn't exist can't show up and vote, but the facts don't matter - its the conspiracy tactics with subtle implications of (shhh... muslim terrorist) that really matter to people like voters like Budmantom and politicians like Palin.

But, but, but all these non-existent people are going to be replaced with street bums who are going to vote multiple times and multiple precincts in multiple States, for Obama.

Yeah, I agree. Some people are so stuck on trying to defend this sort of fraud they look to be sticking to stupid arguments. Fraud is fraud and should be dealt with quickly and forcefully.

Are you saying Muslim terrorists and bums off the steets will change the elections?

i want a purple ink finger.

If you think fraudulent voter registrations aren't a big deal because they aren't actual fraudulent votes yet, you're an idiot. The only paper trail preventing voter fraud is that you can't have more fraudulent ballots then you have registered voters. You can't stuff ballot boxes unless you have a bunch of registrations belonging to non-existent people to check off. Once you already have tens of thousands of fraudulent registrations, stuffing ballot boxes is trivially easy, it only requires a few corrupt poll workers scattered around the more heavily populated districts.

It isn't that easy to do. First of all, most balloting is not done with paper, but with machines. Secondly, most of the precincts have "Party Poll Watchers" who are watching for any signs of skullduggery. No one, to my knowledge, has been convicted recently of changing someone's ballot. Slate has an article on this subject, but I haven't had time to read it. Their take is that stealing votes is an American pasttime. :) But, I'll bet their take has the Republicans coming out with the short stick. I remember some of the policies in the South from the 50's and 60's. (Dems mostly.) Also, don't forget the Republicans own most of the voting machine companies.

Anyway, when Donald Duck (registered in Cleveland) shows up to vote, don't you think someone might quack about it? I'm sure there will be some ruffled feathers.... :)

Very simply...those folks collecting voter registration cards get paid by the card... so submitting fraudulent voter registration cards gets them more money. (or at least until the registrations are thrown out as phony/fraudulent/ficticious)

In many cases, it's not the organization that's committing the voter registration fraud, it's the folks who get paid $1.00 per completed registration card.

It's not exactly the kind of job you hire folks with a MBA to do...so they hire just about anyone they can get to take the job.
