I make judgements when I see a NYT article posted, and they aren't good judgements. It's not quite on par with Breitbart, but they're slowly correcting that. You're known by the company you keep.

NYT lost the plot about 8 years ago. You should have learned that then.

NYT is fine. But they are talking about one issue: ACA.

MAGA is not going to abandon Trump over what they consider "Obamacare" being defunded.

Lower income Republican voters have been voting against their interests for decades, and I wouldn't expect that to change in normal circumstances. Let alone now that most of them are firmly inside the MAGA cult...

Basically anything out of the opinion section and political shop is either mediocre or the kind of garbage that the nepobaby publisher likes. Other areas of reportage are mostly ok.

Hoover got 40% of the vote in 1932 and FDR nuked him from orbit. You don't have to get the core supporters and should never try.

They'll never get a single click from me. I don't poke through shit piles to find the useful food leftover, and I don't patronize NYT. They haven't earned my hardest boycott like twitter(where they don't exist in my world anymore). I'll still consider an archive link where my clicking doesn't increase their prestige.

Looking pretty good?

Right now I see near universal revulsion how weak and pathetic they are.

People are looking to start a third party rather that vote for these inept cowards, that have done nothing but acquiesce to Trump.
That would be absolutely wonderful! I honestly couldn't imagine a better outcome for this country. I'd even donate to it's creation.

Unfortunately for you it is much more likely that we get a Democratic version of the Tea Party movement.

They don't govern, they (the Rs) set policy that enriches their donors. Not being good at making the constituencies happy they're apt to lose elections and find themselves out of power.

There should be and hopefully is self-correcting structure in our governments and institutions. That's what I think democracy is about, or should be. Of the people, by the people, for the people.

2026 and 2028 should be interesting. With what happened one week ago, I have reason to be hopeful.
That is what i mean by GOP governing. I want them to implement all the crap they want so people can actually see how shitty it all is. Then they never get a seat at the table again, until they change. Assuming they havent rigged the election system already of course.

You clowns are so predictable. Always the same tired crap, the same impotent anger. Grow up, act like a man instead of a spoiled child.

If you'll excuse me, I have serfs to lash.
what's it like to support a pedophile and to always feel so inferior ?

Ever since Reagan's trickle down economics speech they've been doing that pushing more wealth upward but on the other hand Democrats have been instituting massive rounds of QE neither of which is sustainable. When we increase out GDP we cannot increase our spending to consume it and that has to stop.
QE? What the fuck? How about you be a big boy and use your words, so we don't have to guess/assume what you are refering to, because I said nothing that refers to QE for me to decifer what you are trying to say. Are you trying to insinuate that safety nets are quality essentials (QE - I'm guessing here)? If so, you are even dumber than I thought you where.

Quantitative easing by the Fed. The Fed implemented QE on a massive scale in the aftermath of the Bush housing bubble. The quantitative easing that the Fed unwound during the Biden administration but then paused their unwinding this summer while they waited to see how badly the Republicans were going to f’ up the economy.

I don't know why you are getting angry at us for pointing out that you voted for and still support a child rapist who was best buds with the most famous child rapist in history. Seems like we should be upset at you actually.

Thank you for "educating" me. I would have never figured it out, as that has nothing to do with what I was talking about in the post @Puffnstuff responded too. I guess I shouldn't be surprised however.

They did get one win out of it, and it was the one I had wanted them to get upfront. Grijalva is going to be seated now, and she is the last vote needed to force a release of the Epstein files.
After they have been doctored and all the GOP names redacted. Now the GOP will get to claim it's a big nothingburger when none of their names are in it any more. Pretty sad when getting the GOP to follow the law and sit an elected representative is painted as a win.

Trump mentioned it a week or two ago and the rest of the GOP ignored it. They knew it would hurt them even if Trump is too stupid to understand that.
Just like Schumer and dems, they're cunning and knew the democrats wanted the filibuster to stand as much as they did. But Trump would have eventually forced their hand because he wasn't going to take the blame for rich people not being able to use the air system for holiday travel.

LOL your boy Trump holding a party with young girls and Epstein the only guest other than him.

You are just making shit up and passing off your own assumptions as fact.

I think far more Democrats want to eliminate the filibuster than Republicans but I also think they don't have 50 Democrats who want to and never have.

Think back to nuking the judicial filibuster. The only way it happened was the GOP took a position so extreme that Democrats had no choice but complete surrender or nuking the filibuster. That's the only reason it happened - literally Republicans said they would never confirm another nominee to the DC circuit, period, regardless of qualifications.
