Democrats should take him up on his offer and put forward real health care reform. Then let the republicans and trump run against it.
 
After watching the Democratic shenanigans of the past month I hope the R's enact the nuclear option then ram Project 2025 straight through as icing on the cake.

I hope they nuke the filibuster too! Glad you've come around to admitting we were right all along that Republicans could end the shutdown whenever they wanted to though.

The way government is supposed to function is if you win an election you get to enact your agenda so I encourage Republicans to do exactly that. Assuming we ever have another free and fair election and Democrats win I fully look forward to them papering the town with universal health care, huge tax hikes on the rich, etc. It's how the system was designed.

To be clear the "shenanigans" have been advocating for ordinary people not getting dicked over for health insurance coverage and using the only tool they have at their disposal to do that.

It's really weird that you're in favor of people paying north of $55K a year for health insurance. Your issue is with Democrats trying to limit or prevent harms to ordinary people from GOP policies that we're rammed through using a process that bypasses the filibuster instead of the shitty policies and their impacts? My family won't be impacted by those policies but I fully support fighting to prevent those impacts because I think people need access to health care they can afford even if the hardest impacted areas are areas that primarily vote for the GOP.

If America is going to go down I would at least like to see the people who voted for it to go down to suffer the most from their actions…it’s only fair.
