I’m sure hatch act still applies to us peons.
A question I find interesting is the moral implication the Hatch Act can raise. I believe to obtain a federal job you have to swear an oath you will not strike. But what do you do then when the money you make at a federal job is so low you can’t lead a half way decent life and the union calls for a strike. Now you are stuck with choosing between breaking your oath or seeking just redress? What do you do?

Yep. Hatch act is way gone. I see ads with her Cosplaying ass on a regular basis, insulting our police force, brought to you by my tax money.

You should see the internal emails ... constant violations. But nothing will ever be done about it. Just add the Hatch Act to the growing list of laws/amendments that are useless.

People who were acting in good faith on behalf of the American public would probably agree to maintain coverage for the time and reopen the government with an eye towards reform in the coming months.
However, these repugnant pieces of shit about been crying about the ACA for years that they could have been spending on proposing actual reform, in fact, their President even told us they'd get us a better healthcare deal. I didn't believe it because I'm not stupid, but he said it.

Some interesting reading here.

Seems that Healthcare would be for the elites... the issue? What if come key doctors decides to quit and NOT to work for them due lack of experience?

Why would healthcare be an issue for people who can afford anything?
Take in care something: doctors gets experience by attending people, no matter social class or status. That gives variety.
You take that variety by giving it only for elites.

Is stepping back from the knowledge doctors (old and new) need to access.

Without experience, even the elites would get affected and won't be treated well.

That unless, the elites put their resources on the AI and put all the docs knowledge on it. But that goes on: what would be the doctors role in a future that AI could replace them?

Yeah, sounds a dystopia, but my fear is that the elites might go in that direction.

So the GOP went from complaining when the ACA was passed that some people had to get a different doctor to pushing policies where you cannot afford a doctor

Fuck everyone who voted for this

It would honestly be difficult to design a set of policies that would be harsher on rural America than what the GOP congress and Trump admin are up to. Short of deploying nuclear weapons against them.
But they kept trans kids out of sports and billionaires got tax cuts so it all evens out in the eyes of their base.

Erotic Asphyxiation
Masochism
Tariff Terrorism
Ritual Sacrifice (via 2nd amendment)
Stephen Millers Cuckoldry

They're one weird death cult.. probably getting off before they get off!

Both sides getting plenty of blame now, GOP long game (as always) maybe going to work out for them:

Sincere question - can you tell me the last time you linked to a poll or news story that had positive news for Democrats in it?

I ask because I genuinely can't think of a single time, ever, and of course over the years you've been posting here there have been plenty of opportunities to do so. Have you?
