Ok, so I'm tyring to install windows XP on my parents computer. Its an older HP (blah) but we just bought a new hard drive and I'm trying to put it on that. So I start up off the CD and it copies over all the installation files fine. Then it restarts and it says press a button to read of CD (I don't since I've already been through that step) then it gives me the error message

NTLDR is missing
Press any key to continue

and it does this everytime. Any idea what the problem is or what I can do to fix it?

Doh... I forgot how much MS Knowledge base RULES!!

one thing.... is there anyway I can make a 98 Startup disc from my XP computer (by maybe downloading the files off the net) if I can't find my old 98 Startup Boot disc?
