So this past Monday, I was at Shea Stadium and noticed a big Nikon advertisement in center field as well as Nikon advertising plastered all over the photographer?s booths along the 1st and 3rd base lines. However, every single photographer in the booths was using a Canon. Care to draw any conclusions?
 
Could be same problem on Nikon or other cameras with Lexar cards, just hasn't been caught yet because not as many people using / noticing it? Then again, could just be Canon. Eitherway... at least they are owning up and fixing it.

I have a D70 and the same card and haven't noticed a problem
 
Hey cool. I didn't know you could flash the firmware on a compactflash card.

That seems to be what the press release is implying.
