K, I know nobody likes a repost, but what exactly are the rules moderating what is considered a repost? Anandtech is big enough already that nearly everything has been done before or posted before.
I bring this up because this thread of mine was locked for being a repost (if there is another reason, Please let me know and Ill try and avoid breaking whatever rule it was that I broke). But the thread was said to be months old. I started searching for said thread and still have not been able to even find it. Im not saying that it did not exist, but it was obscure enough that it was fairly hard to track down (searched for ban and banned in topic and thread).
I know that there needs to be a repost rule, as 100 threads about Paris Hilton aren't doing anyone any good, but when is a repost not a repost? Also, it would be nice if it was stated in the rules (no rules in the forum guidelines against reposting)
