<< How's the weather?:) >>

Warm. Hehehe...even though I'm Chinese, I look out of place because I'm the guy wearing a T-shirt in the middle of winter. Everyone is wearing their huge thick coats while I'm walking through the streets in jeans and a t-shirt.

<< malaysia is nice... rains here about twice a day though... all the signs are in english and malaylayam (which is really just some bad english ;)) lots of kfc if you're into that. a lot nicer than the last place my parents lived, thought the flight is a lot worse. 5 hours to bogota vs 25-30 to KL... and what with china air canceling my flight it was probably 33... i should fly malaysian coming over here but you're allowed to hold seats until like 2 weeks in advance so everyone books and then only half of them fly. gonna try to get back here for the F1 race at sepang in march. >>

Fjive <---- Malaysian....if any of you guys happen to come here for holiday...PM me...might be able to bring u around to visit some nice places...
neh...not that much of KFCs if you really look around...there's more Mcdonalds ....hehe
and it doesnt rain that much u know...only like 2-5 times a week on average...hehe

The stuff you Americans can get is already obsolete. You guys would LOVE the huge computer store cities here. Some of the stuff you can find here won't be available for at least another 6 months in N. America.

Those of you that bought that shiny new Sony MZ-R900 minidisc recorder...that's been out here for like...a year. There way newer stuff here. Those of you that bought a laptop in N. America...that thing is a brick (in terms of weight and width. LOL. Anything over an inch is cheap here since they're huge. Most laptops are an inch in thickness (or lowered...like the Sharp Mebius which is 0.7) and about 3-4 pounds.

The Sharp, depending on specs, is about $2000-4000 CDN. I'll probably be getting a Sony SRX-something which is under an inch, 3 pounds and about under 2000 CDN.

Exchange rate between CDN and US is about 0.625 US per CDN. Do the math. I'm too tired to.

i'm still jealous that my parents bought a flat screen panasonic 27" TV in malasia in aug 2000 so when i went to best buy to get a new TV in jan 2001 the best i could get was a curved panablack. granted, its a nice tv, but i like flat ones more. still don't get as many flat tv's in the US, though thats changing.

Yep. TV here aren't just flat screen...they're FLAT period. I saw a 1 inch thick wide screen TV that's damn sweet.

LCD monitors are cheap too. 15 inchers are under $400 CDN and 17 is only a hundred or so more. All damn nice.

Back where I started...at the airport on a jacked net terminal on which I installed ICQ and crap. LOL.

Flight leaves in like...4 hours, dammit.

Back again....but on a frickin' iMAC. I hate these things.

However, it's cool that the airport has a courtesy facility for passengers. Free coffee and broadband. I count...8 terminals. Only four are being used.

There's some big business British dude sitting beside me complaining about how his companies website is outdated.
