Anyways, just waiting for some other people to arrive and there are internet terminals all over the place...free too. This is where I'll be spending Christmas and New Years.

Hell yeah...minidisc and MP3 players are ultra cheap here too.

UPDATE: I bought my R909. Pretty sweet.

Dammit...and then I'm on a plane for 13 hours. Oh well. I'll probably type up a post on my experience here and a HK review...as well as where to shop for computer and electronics.

Well, at the airport (which is hella expensive), they go for anywhere from 65-200 US...and these are players that I've never even seen in North America. That new Sony Memory Stick one is about 240US.

As for minidisc players, the newest from Sony, the MZ-R909 is about $230 US...which is about 100 less than what it goes for on eBay...::gets evil ideas...::

And this is at the airport...where things are expensive.

thats nice place, wish that i had been stuck there for 5 hours instead of at butt-ugly chang kai shek. 5 hours i would have gone through immigration and over to the city. but no, i was in chang kai shek for 5 hours and hong kong for 30 minutes. and it was foggy so i could only see the stuff right next to the airport.

I wish I could stay that long...but I got school, y'know.

Me and my friends are planning another trip though where we visit just about the entire Asian Pacific Rim. We tour Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia. We got at least one guy from each place that still has a house in that country so we don't need to pay for hotels and crap. Just airfare.

malaysia is nice... rains here about twice a day though... all the signs are in english and malaylayam (which is really just some bad english ) lots of kfc if you're into that. a lot nicer than the last place my parents lived, thought the flight is a lot worse. 5 hours to bogota vs 25-30 to KL... and what with china air canceling my flight it was probably 33... i should fly malaysian coming over here but you're allowed to hold seats until like 2 weeks in advance so everyone books and then only half of them fly. gonna try to get back here for the F1 race at sepang in march.

I'll be arriving in Hong Kong a week after you leave, I'm pretty psyched about it. Only gonna be there for 3-4 days though, it's gonna be hard not to spend like crazy hehe.

I've been here 3 days and I've already bought a suitcase full of stuff.

There's cheap stuff everywhere. CD-Rs and minidiscs are like...next to free. I bought a CD binder that holds 320 CDs for 10 bucks! I'll be picking up a MZ-R909 instead of a E909 now though. Still cheap as hell.

Hehehe...I had a buddy pick up some Kyoko Fukada and Hyolee posters for me in Japan. I'm gonna get a few of their photobooks too. They're only like $5...but in Canada, they're like...$60.
