A lot of people seem to like it. I'm still undecided. Maybe a second viewing is in order.

97% on Rotten Tomatoes too.

It had some genuinely funny moments throughout, but I only really enjoyed it in the last 15 minutes or so when the entire movie dissolved into unrestrained strangeness.

It's a typical "cult classic". It certainly didn't aim high and by most measures it cannot be rated highly but yet it has an undeniable appeal to a certain demo. Me rikey, anyway.
