OK.. This is my first time posting, so don't flame me if I mess something up..

Anyways, I was reading over @ the FatWallet.com Hot Deals forum, and I saw a post about replica Oakleys for $19.99. I have yet to order a pair, but from what I've heard, they're very good. They even have UVA and UVB protection.. and it's important that you were glasses that have this so you don't damage your eyes. Plus, you can look pretty damn stylin' in them.. 8D

I've ordered a pair of juliets from them. they were made of cheap plastic or nylon, very very flimsy and obviously fake. the temples bent and you could see the "lines" like mold lines or something.

Anyway, I had them for about 3 months and one of the temples snapped where it meets the frmae, bam - dead sunglasses, in the trash
 
we had another person that posted a site for fake oakleys...I think he was spamming the site on the msg board..probally work or owned the site.And alot of ppl gave some bad reviews on the foakleys.
 
I bought a pair of replica A-wires from there. They are very high quality. I went to Sunglass hut and couldn't even tell the difference. Just stay away from the Juliets because those are obvious replicas. They are plastic instead of metal.

yeah, like I said the juliets were TERRIBLE. If you say the a-wires were decent, I might order some of those. Not only did I have to wait like an extra week for te juliets, but they were cheap flimsy, obviously fake and they broke
 
whats the diff. between A-wires and e-wires?

and whats the diff. between "black" and "carbon" colors? I thought carbon was black??
 
you get what you pay for.. I've bought a foakley before and it broke after two weeks. You're much better off saving that 20bucks, and buy a real oakley... yeah, it cost 6x more, but at least it'll last longer than a fake tan B-)
 
How true, I've been using my *REAL* Oakleys for 5 years. Those frames have been through hell and never broke. The fake ones don't even last 5 weeks.
 
i need some sunglasses but i need to work for a a week just to afford some oakleys 🙁 min wage job 🙁....or i can buy these...damn i cant decide...and i i dont want to blow 100+ on some sun glasses

Price was the main reason that I bought foakley A-wires. I have been really happy with them. I'd be worried that I would lose real $100+ Oakley sunglasses. Oakleys do have the best warrenty in the industry, though. I bought my foakleys at: http://www.replicaoutlet.pair.com/

i have some foakley a-wires, got from replica. I'd have to say it LOOKS nice, but it's a foakley, they don't last, and I need prescription sunglasses (which cost a bundle.. damn crappy).

BTW, anyone know if I have to send in my Rx to oakley, or can i buy some oakleys and take me to lenscrafter or something?
 
I had a pair of real $120 Oakley's that lasted 2 years before I lost them. Since then I bought 4 pairs or imitation Oaklee's (joke) in chinatown for $20 and realized that even the imitations keep the sun out of my eyes. Go figure.
 
Just check the auction sites for good deals on sunglasses. There is a pair of real jim maui sunglasses for like 50 bux item #382386361

or a pair of suncloud glasses #382378001 . Both on fleabay.

I've seen one site self post an ad, it was so obvious... Seems like a lot of them copy replicaoutlet.com

I would rather pay the .1 cent more and go with someone that is trusted... and is an advertiser on these hot deal forums.
 
I heard it some where that wearing those fake oakleys can have negative effects on your eyes.

Those fakes aren't even Polarized.
 
i don't think real OAKLEYS are polarized either. i don't understand how joakleys can have a bad effect on your eyes. they are supposed to be uva and uvb resistant so the harmful rays aren't getting to your eyes. that's the thing that sunglasses do to protect your eyes. however, i have real oakleys so i don't mind that much, however if joakelys were cheaper around here and i don't have to buy them online (i've seen them for $5 before but $10 is more common nowadays in the streets) i would get joakleys...they don't seem to be that bad.
