Pellets, It might be able to shoot BB's but I wouldn't recommend it. Its a 10M pistol trainer. It's accurate enough to keep them in the 10 ring if you do your part. If you're looking to plink, its not the right choice. If you're looking for a serious slow fire trainer you can shoot in your yard/basement its a nice gun. If you can find one the Baikal IZH-46M is great too, but anything made by Izhevsk is hard to get in the US since they banned the imports (They make AK47s, etc too)

Thanks for the post. I was aware of the 10M rifle, but not pistol. Makes sense. Nice pistol. Good stuff.
