I don't know what you are so antsy about. Whatever the price is when you bid, you can just basically assume that's the price you'll get it for. What I mean is let's say you bid for $495. And since then, how much as it dropped? Like $2.00? We are not talking any amount that would make a difference. If this were a $10 item and it dropped $2, that's a big deal. But this is a $500.00 item.

God I am seriously adicted... I have no need for this (I don't think I do anyway) but I feel this intense urge to buy it "just because"... I mean, I'll probably check it out for a month and hawk it on fleabay if I don't find it extraordinarily useful.

One question, besides hackability (which I think is moot now because I heard replays are hackable) why would someone PREFER a Tivo??? Monthly the service runs like $10 a month doesn't it? And lifetime is $200... the replay ends up being a better deal any way you look at it. I'll admit the Tivo is cooler-looking, but why buy something just for looks.

Rossman or someone else--convince me to buy this and lower the cost a couple cents! LOL
