Hmmn I'm thinking about getting one of these, since I'm not all that interested in a hack (which may not work with Tivo version 2.0) and no monthly fees it seems the ReplayTV is the choice for me. If only Mercata still had free shipping, thankfully I have about $450.46 in Mercata dollars available to use (referrals work wonders).

What does the TiVo do better than RePlay other than 1) $200 cheaper initially and 2) Can be hacked?

Holycrap - Thanks for your note about being able to program your replay over the web! This would be totally awesome since I hate taking the time to program my VCR, if I could program it from work over the web that would really make it worth it. I wonder how the replay unit would receive the signal though? Through the phone line?
