replacing power switch on case

Here is a picture of the front of my case. You can see how the bottom part of the front panel has the power and reset switches. Well, I am going to remove the whole bottom part but do not know what to do about the power and reset switches. Any help would be appreciated.

Not really sure what you mean here. Are you looking to buy replacement switches that you can mount somewhere? If so you can find on-off and momentary switches @ Radio Shack and a bunch of online sites

I'm asking how I can replace the existing switches. Would on-off switches work? I guess I would prefer the type where it toggles. Where you press once and it goes on, and you press again and it goes off. Are these the momentary switches you speak of?

left hand black + right hand red = on
or you could do right hand / right foot if you want to exclude your heart from the fun.

and yes, you are thinking of momentary switches. just make sure the ratings are capable of handling the load. but why not just relocate the old switches?

Hmm, I don't know if I can disassemble the old switches. It seems like they are built in to the front bottom panel...or is this never the case? Since I've never removed switches before, I plan on basically just breaking the back part that is plastic. Does anyone have experience removing switches? It seems to be held in there almost permanently.

Usually your switches are held in place with screws, although I have had a few that were glued in.

Directron has a few switches here.
They have an ATX switch with wires and connector here. (No button on this one)

For a reset switch I think you need a momentary switch that is "normally closed" and here is the only one on Radio Shacks website.
