Hi All,

I need to replace my ssd with a bigger capacity one and need to remove the card install ssd and plug it back in.

Should I unplug the power cable from the PC and shut off the PSU switch or should I just shut off the PSU switch and leave the power cable in so it's grounded?

Thank you)

P.S. - this is not the system ssd - just secondary storage

I usually just flip the PSU switch since it keeps the system grounded while working inside. Otherwise you'll need a wrist strap for preventing static discharge. Touching the case dissipates the static charge each time you touch it.
