I am a gamer first and foremost. I play with very low sensitivities though in most games (FPS) to increase my accuracy. For instance, my mouse is currently 400DPI and I play Counter-Strike: Source at 3.24 sensitivity and the windows setting is at default.
Current Mouse: Mircosoft IntelliMouse Optical USB Special Edition (not sold anymore)...I've had it since 1999 and I need to replace because it keeps turning on and off without warning.
I want to have more options on the mouse. I figured that playing with a higher mouse sensitivity and lower software settings may improve my accuracy due to a more precise DPI. The problem I seem to be having is weight. My current mouse is 3 oz. The gaming mice I seem to look at G5/MX518 seems to be very heavy. I tried the razor diamondback. It was lightweight, but the left and right click we so light that I accidentally clicked when I didn't want to.
Are there any other gaming mice that I should look at? People on newegg say that the OCZ Equalizer is really light weight, but I don't know how good the quality of that mouse is... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
