Replacing ic7-g

Im swapping out my motherboard for an rma and when i reboot do i have to reinstall windows or anything? Same exact motherboard and everything else.

I think you may be fine with just a resetting of the BIOS.

It's always a safe bet to reinstall windows, but try it out first and see what happens.

No need to reinstall the OS or run a repair when you swap out with an identical motherboard.

So i dont need to do anything just plug it all back together and i am ready to go?

I went from an ASUS A7N8X w/ 1700+ JIUHB to my current system, IC7 w/ 2.4C and did not reinstall my OS. So that should tell you something ;)

I have swapped out identical motherboards a couple of times and all I have to do is go into bios and retweak some settings(agp versus pci,memory timings, etc).

Your OS should pickup everything without any problems.
