Replacing fan on Zalman 7700

Long story short, I stuck a screwdriver in my case (yes I know, dumb move) trying to move a wire so it wouldn't touch my fan and cause it to rattle. Well I missed and broke off one of the blades on the fan and now it vibrates the entire case at full speed. At lower speeds, it's silent and doesn't make any noise, but regardless, the fan needs to be replaced.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what fans I could use to replace the stock Zalman fan? I've heard Yate Loon and Panaflo, but I'd really prefer something I could buy in stores (namely Fry's) because I want to get this fixed ASAP and don't want to wait for shipping.

That's my CPU fan.

Nexus fans are relatively easy to find and one of the best quiet fans out there.

There are lots of threads on SilentPCReview.com with people having done fan swaps on the 7000/7700s. It involves some drilling, but it shouldn't be hard to do. Here's one example.

Thanks a lot for that thread, I'll keep it in mind for the future. Luckily, I was able to superglue the blade back on. It's running fine right now and I hope it stays that way. I may end up replacing the fan in the future anyways because I do get rattling at full speed (Which was the cause of this situation). Or better yet, I'll just get a new CPU cooler altogether...

I had the same POS a while back, hated it for the rattle and got rid of it
Bought a Scythe Ninja and still using it today

Dump it and your ears will thank you
