I'm the only one who can decide, but I need to understand the choices to do so, other than the obvious longer warranty. Your comment that presidential would be a waste is helpful; does that include the apparently pretty different and even more expensive 'presidential TL'?

Yes it does. That opinion is based on the picture you posted of the roof. The house appears to be a simple design and was originally a modest home. But the decision is entirely about what you want. All of the different materials quoted will work well and look good. The 20 year material will be the least attractive as it's the thinnest, the thirty year will have more definition and in my opinion look a bit nicer.
