Replacing a fan.

I got a new system a few weeks ago and I'm now regretting that I kept the original fan of my Sonata II case. It makes too much noise and, considering the cheap price of the fans (typically less than $30, if I'm correct), I'm thinking about replacing it.

My problem is that I'm a complete newbie and that my current system was assembled by Directron... How difficult is it to replace the fan ?

I have a P5B Deluxe, so I guess I'll have to plug the Q-Fan on the fan somewhere, to allow the motherboard to control the speed of the fan ? Or is this only for the CPU fan ?

Last question : it seems that the fan of the PSU that came with my Sonata II almost (I'm not checking every 5mn) never moves. Is that normal ?

fans are much much less than $30 - heck I spent $15 on a fan and that is considered fairly expensive. Yate Loons are good fans. No blingy LEDs though, but that is up for personal preference 😉
