Replacing a 60gb, with a 200gb

A friend got a few Westren Digital 200gb HDD on black friday. He said he'd sell me one for $85. I already have a Maxtor 60gb and a WD 200gb, all my system and OS files are on the 60gb and was wondering if I can hook up the new 200gb inplace of my DVD-ROM, then copy all the OS files on the 60gb to the new 200gb. Then remove the 60gb and replace it with the new 200gb. Will it then boot up like normal or will it give me problem? THanks.

Yeah. As Viper said Ghost it. Use norton ghost, transfer the ghost image to the 200gb drive and it should all work from there.

Could just download the Western digital app from their site and use it. I've used it for hard drive upgrades and it works Ok.
