Is the GTX 580 FTW Hydro Copper 2 just as faster or do I need to sli something?

I think 580 ftw is quite good, you'll definitely feel this upgrade. what type of rez and games are you running on? That would probably give a good idea if you will really feel this upgrade or not.

Considering the GTX480 was around the speed or faster than the GTX295 and the GTX580 is faster, I think you are all-right.

The gtx 580 hydro copper 2's are just like regular 580's except single slot cards with (obviously) water cooling, sli works fine as does tri sli. Not sure about quad sli never seen it with hydro copper's.

Using the swiftech MCR220 and play Metro/Civ/starcraft etc. Is it faster than 295? I can't find benches.

Yeah i could save about $85 by buying a regular 580 and putting a EK water block on it but I wanted 100% warranty with the problems I had with 295 hydrocopper (google them they have notorious issues I'm send one I have back again, 2x now!) plus the fact that single slot block looks very cool.
