Replacement for Abander Tagcontrol?

I'm trying to tag my music collection (most of my stuff was ripped before I had internet). I've been using Abander Tagcontrol 2 because it let me get all the info and album covers right from amazon.com. Now my free trial ran out and I don't really want to spend $20 to finish the last half of my music. Does anyone know of a freeware MP3 tag editor that works as nice as this?

I use to be a big time MusicMatch player fan untill after the massive bloat (after 7.5). I liked it because of the cool way it does the auto tagging and simple way of adding album art.

Currently, I use QCD and it is so much nicer than MusicMatch ever was. What makes QCD great are the many plug-ins, it doesn't have as many plug-ins as WinAmp, but I just never liked WinAmp.

Tag editor?
The Tag and File Editor in QCD works great. QCD is completely FREE. If you have NERO installed, check out the "QCDNERO 6" plug-in...lets you burn right within QCD.

Album art utility?
I use a program called "album cover art downloader" (duhhh) 🙂. This utility will allow you embedded the picture into the MP3 files (ID3v2) and/or a folder artwork for thumbnail viewing. (It uses the similar "Amazon API")

As a bonus, if your like me and use FLAC, APE & OGG (lossless audio), QCD can play those (and many other type) with the added plug-in.

ps. The only thing I miss from MusicMatch is how it was able to put the album art into the wallpaper.
