Those links state they are sleeve bearing fans. Zalman has always shipped ball bearing type fans with their heatsinks.

They make no secret about it. It states the are a F2 92 with the frame removed, so they might have modded them in house. For $5 one could hardly complain. ;)

Ah, you're right. And yes that is a pretty decent price.

Side note...

Here are in instructions for replacing the 9500 with a fan of your choosing.

When I accidentally broke a fan blade on my fv700, I just emailed zalman and they sent me a replacement fan for free. :)

If you could change the fan, wouldn't that mean you'd be able to change it for a better fan, too? :confused:

yea people have modded to fit a 92mm nexus, or a 120mm (brand not disclosed) fan but that would sit outside the fins not right in like the real fan is and the 92 did
