Replacement DLP Bulb

A friend of mine needs a new bulb for his Mitsubishi DLP TV. He said he has seen a wide range of prices on the net and isn't sure who to trust.

Do any of you recommend a particular website to order bulbs from?

Also, he said he found just the bulb that needs "some wiring" or the entire housing, but the entire housing is a good bit more.
 
My replacement for my TV was $350 so I would guess anything under that is pretty good. My original hasn't gone out yet but I firgured I'd be safe and get a spare before they stop making them.
 
They will not stop making them. The bulb only has about a 5000 hrs or so life.
And that can be shortened by rapidly or frequently turning the set On & Off
