Replacement case fans

Hey guys I was looking to replace my stock case fans on my wavemaster and also put in the top exhust, I was looking at the following CLICK ME or would you recommend someting else.

Just my opinion, but the higher airflow of the Silverstone would seem to be a plus over the others.

Silverstone has made some decent fans. their 120mm fan his a slight whine at its top-end, but I have yet to see how some teflon lubricant might reduce it.

. . . That is . . . . the 5 dBA sound-level difference between the Panaflo and the Silverstone might be more than offset by the CFM difference if you could reduce the rpms through a fan-controller. . . .

The problem I see with the Silverstone is that the fan is actually bigger then the opening for air itself. That's certainly going to cause some back pressure issues and increased noise.

Don't know about the back pressure and noise... but I agree that the size might be a problem. I don't *think* they'll fit into the nose of a wavemaster without mods. The exhaust should be okay though.

What's the OPER planning to do on top?!?!?

I want the top to be another exhaust

Okay, well, I don't see back pressure being a prob.

Maybe Operandi was talking about something else...

I don't think it will either now actually. If it's anything like the Cooler Master Praetorian (which it I?m' fairly certain it is).

I have a Praetorian right here next to me and sitting nearly flush with the top mounted exhaust fan is the PSU cage; the Silverstone might have a hard time fitting.
