Replaced original car radio with aftermarket one

I replaced the original radio/cd player in my 2003 Corolla with an aftermarket one about 2 years ago. I've been moving the radio from box to box over the years and want to get rid of the radio (but not throw it out). Anyone here have any experience with original radios? Can I sell it back to a dealership, maybe post it on Craigslist or something (anyone ever have any luck). Maybe someone out there has a radio that broke and wants a new one, but doesn't want to buy a new one from a dealership. That's what I'm hoping.

Just wondering if there there is anything else I can do that I'm not thinking of...

KEEP IT SO THAT WHEN YOU SELL THE CAR YOU CAN PUT IT BACK IN AND KEEP YOUR AFTERMARKET RADIO

QFT. I'VE STILL GOT MY ORIGINAL FROM MY CRV, AND I'VE GOT A PIONEER IN THERE NOW

See that bin next to your desk? Put it in there and it will be sent to Radio Retention. If you ever need it again, you just ask for it and someone will get it for you.

Honestly, probably 99% of all people will never put the original back in. Just chuck it.

I'd probably get a new one at that point (Ipod integration), etc.

Most factory radios are worth about $40 max so keep it in case the aftermarket radio ever dies.

In other news, people are now incapable of making any type of minor decision in their life without asking for help on an internet message board.

fill it with model glue, spray the outside with hairspray, tie a string between it from a high telephone pole to a lower stop sign, light it on fire and let it fly. Wait, we talking about a radio or model airplane?
