Replaced my totaled G37 coupe for a new one (Updated with Pics)

Got a lease on a white 2013 G37 with graphite interior. It's going to get delivered today to my house by the dealership at around 7p PST since they had to get one from somewhere else as the one they had didn't have the packages I wanted.

Will post pictures later once I have it.

Here are some pics. Love the car.

White with a grey interior? I'll save judgement until pics.

But I would've gone with tan. And probably something other than white. 😛 But white paint can look okay, and is more a personal preference thing. Grey interiors just seem kind of generally 'blah.'

Maybe I'll see if I can find some pics and prove myself wrong...

edit: ooohhh. Graphite is their word for 'black,' apparently. Grey is 'stone.' I now approve.

Nice! I really wanted a used G37 but needed four doors and manual 4 doors are hard to find.

You must really like it to replace a totaled one with a new one. Most people would probably want to "try something different".

I find that the car is very well made. Also the one that I had took the collision that I was in like a champ and absorbed the impact nicely. Plus I got a great deal on it. Around 329 (including tax)/month with about 2000 down. The car has nav, premium and sport packages on it.

Beautiful car, obligatory "white is the best color" comment from me. I always pick white. I've had a few white on black cars.

the 6MT is now up to $45,500? ouch, that's too close to bmw money. it's gone up almost $1k per year since i bought mine in 2006.

almost forgot:
enjoy the new car!

Very nice. They have a copper/gray color that looks very good on this car as well. Love the body design.

The IPL's have about the most gorgeous factory paint I can think of. It's black in the right light. Very, very purple in other light, with a lot of metallic and pearl in it.

Congrats, sounds nice.

Everybody complained about the 370Z motor sounding truckish in the high revs stating that the VQ motor was too bored out.

I know its the same motor but that doesn't seem to be a complaint on the G, do they mask the engine noise a bunch to not hear it?

Might have different headers on it.

I see you got the automatic... congrats?

I almost got the 6spd but somehow it was missing that oomph that I was looking for. The torque and agility that i expected in the first gear wasn't really there. I had previously driven a stick evo and that was like a rocket. The auto is seven speed and supposedly is faster than the manual (don't know if it is true or not) but that is what the sales guy told me. It certainly feels quicker.
Given that my wife will drive this too I got the auto. I was bummed about it at first but I guess I could always use the paddle shifters.
Other reasons why I chose the auto is because the auto is slightly more fuel economical. Plus it has 2 cup holders in the console instead of one in the stick version. Not important reasons but reasons nonetheless.
