Replace northbridge fan

Hi
Any suggestions for a replacement northbridge fan for my AM2 DFI NF 570-M/G mobo?. I initially replaced the burntout fan with an enzotech fan but it's not keeping the temps down and I'm now experiencing random lockups since I started using it. I need a low profile heatsink/fan due to the graphics card end hanging over it. Thanks for any input

The Evercool VC-RE was pretty popular back in the socket 939 heyday for use on boards like the DFI Lanparty.

Alternately you can use this Thermalright SLI chipset cooler and be able to position the heatsink away from the chipset, avoiding (hopefully) your graphics card.

How loud is the evercool? I've been spoilt by the whisper quiet enzotech despite it's performance.

"Whisper quiet" is probably why it doesn't cool well. The Evercool is not that quiet since it spins at 3000-4000RPM or somewhere thereabouts, but it is pretty effective for such a small fansink.
