No, just no. It is one of the original Pentium-M's from ~2005. An Atom netbook is probably faster. An E-350 netbook definitely is.
mfenn, I'm not ignoring your advise; it's just a backup laptop for my desktop, it doesn't have to be very fast, it just has to work. ...and I see your (and the others) logic for going all-in for a new laptop, there are some real deals out there right now and from a longevity point of view it makes some sense. But I'm thinking for around $100 I can get my old 6000 cleaned up and running good for another few years. By that time, the Intel i20 CPU and Win35 will be out and I can upgrade then.![]()
