Replace Early Model NForce?

Hello!

Please give grace to a newbie question:

Last November/December I got a new MSI NForce board for a new build. Well, one thing led to another, and it is now almost June, and no build. Now, I have the $$ and time for it.

With all the changes in AMD processors and a new generation of MB's, should I still use the older NForce, should I get a new NForce, or go with a newer MB from a different chipset?

Thanks for your help/opinions!

Sincerely,

TitleistProV1

What specifically do you not like about the older nForce board? To my knowledge, there haven't been any updates to the nForce chipset except for the recent release of the nForce 415-D which is essentially the same thing as the nForce 420-D without the capability for onboard video.

Good idea. Your board is going to be plenty fast, and a BIOS and driver update should get everything to work just fine.
