Replace Defective CD

Will Microsoft replace a defective windows xp cd. it will only install to 42% then it stops. I will be more then happt to send them the original cd for replacement.
 
sure.... they'll probably end up making you pay almost the price of just buying a whole new OS though.
 
I'd try to burn it then use the backup to install first.

Or since you have a legal key borrow the disk from someone then use your key.
