replace Chevron Techron for $1.70 @ K-mart - Penske Fuel System Cleaner

The Penske Car Care Total Fuel System Cleaner usually about $7 is on clearance at K-mart for $1.70.

There are generally three types of fuel system cleaners. The $4 add to your tank at every gas fill fuel injector cleaner. The $5-$10 add to your tank every 3000 miles fuel system cleaner. Then there's the proven Chevron Techron Concentrate ($5 or $10) and the uber BG 44K ($19). This Penske is just below the Chevron Techron and at $1.70 makes it a great replacement for Chevron Techron which can get expensive if your car has a gas tank larger than 16 gallons.

This item was on clearance at K-mart in Long Beach, CA. I saw 30 left, so YMMV.

I a have found good everday best prices on black bottle std Techron at Costco .

Techron was the only reccommended cleaner by Porsche when I had mine. (Why did I sell it????? Oh yeah, $500 alternators, $100 plug wires EACH, and $50 oil changes...)

update... I just saw it at another K-mart for $1.30.

Also is the 4 pack of Techron for $9.99 at Costco the 20oz bottle of Techron Concentrate... If so that's a great deal. Too bad I don't have a membership.

Found a bottle and it scanned at $1.40

Poured it into my fuel tank and several minutes later the check engine light on my dash came on...LOL
