My laptop took a couple foot drop today and I've traced the bluescreen I am now getting back to the video card. With the ATI drivers installed, it BSODs on boot, but without them, I can boot up just fine.

Everything else is working fine, but the graphic limitations might get rather annoying after a while. So, here's my question... Is it possible to replace the ATI mobility 9200 or 9700 (not sure which) in my VAIO laptop?

If not, any alternatives to not running the laptop in software accelerated graphical mode (PCMCIA video card?)

Thanks
