repeated resetting

hi, i just put together a system:

Athlon XP 1600
Gigabyte GA-7VTXE Mobo
256MB 2100DDR
Maxtor 6.4 GB
Intel 740 Video Card
Enermax Whisper PS

running win2k pro
the temp is fine at 40 c, but everytime it gets to
the picture of windows with the bar at the bottom,
it just resets itself. anyone have any clues as to
whats going on?

Does the reboot happen at exactly the same point on bootup?

Have you tried removing everything from the system which isn't essential (ie sound cards, modems, scsi cards, cdwriters, dvd drives etc etc) to see if the problem persists - perhaps its a bad device driver causing the reset?

If the problem doesn't happen at the same point everytime, I'd be more inclined to say its possibly a power issue but you've got a good PSU already.
