Every time I start my computer windows runs a disk check:

Checking the file system on D:
The type of giles system is NTFS
The volume is dirty.

It goes through three steps before loading windows. Is there any way to turn this off? I'm not sure how it got started but I really dont like waiting 5 minutes for my computer to boot. I'm reformatting soon so I'm not really worried about this.
