I'm curious at this point if there is a lie the leadership or WH is unwilling to tell in order to get this passed. I mean people rightly excoriated Obama for "If you like your doctor you can keep him" but the repeated promises on pre-existing conditions are going to age very poorly. This is "If you like your doctor fuck you because you can't absorb a 400% premium increase to get any care whatsoever since you live in a GOP state".

If Repubs manage to do anything at all it'll mean somebody gets screwed & it won't be their mega billionaire backers. They'll play Hell actually selling it, even to their base. They told Joe & Joan Sixpack that they'd deliver cheaper & better for them, not cheaper & better for the financial elite. They can't possibly deliver both at the same time & haven't figured out how to blame their own lies on the dirty Democrats.

They say they've got the votes in the House. Not sure if that's going to hold true after the Senate gets done with it.

They need to get it out of the HOR & into the Senate So that they can blame Dems for thwarting their attempts to "help" working Americans. And they'll be believed by all too many people.

Looks like the house is going to pass it.

They only had to turn up to 11 all the stuff they said the Dems were shady for doing to pass the ACA. Oh well, thanks for the tax cut Trump voters lol.

I'm sure Fox News will keep them well informed.

Repubs mega billionaire donors see the money they spend on Repub politicians as a quid pro quo deal. They're in it for tax cuts & less regulation of their business practices. They'll flog it out of Congressional Repubs if they have to.

I just hope the megabillionares get him to allow re-patiation of funds so I can make ten Mil on AAPL. Then i can buy swiss citizenship and bail on this titanic of a country like so much skinking and dejected Dicaprio.

Edit: LOL it occurs to me that this is likely the endgame for most of the Trump family when this runaway train government finally hits some real crisis.

As always the devil will be in the details that the Repubs will try to bury way way down deep as they hit the streets with mega-megaphones to try to cover up the facts of the matter. Too bad anybody that's anybody knows where and what to look for.

If it's true that they're sidestepping their biggest responsibilities via handing them off to those Repub safe states that they know will do a hatchet job on whatever is left for those folks who will suffer from the loss of benefits and protections, especially those with pre-existing conditions, then it's really cowardly of them and a total slick trick that Dickhead Nixon and Dick the Prick Cheney would be proud of.

That they're also tossing this live grenade over to their buddies in the Senate who will try their best to shove that grenade down the Dems throats and have the Dems choke on it is also cowardly and reeks of desperation.

I hope the Dems are already warning every single person that is being negatively affected by this duplicitous maneuvering of what the Repubs are trying to get away with.

For the fact that they've been flailing away at this health care reboot for weeks now just makes more people aware of who the Repubs are trying to benefit and who they're trying their best to rip off.

So they are going to go on record and recklessly vote for it, and then the CBO will say, 10 million or whatever sickly Americans will lose health insurance as a result. It's like they are writing ads against themselves to pass a law that has no future in the Senate anyways. Democrats are giddy about it.

If you don't like dying, just move to Liberal State!
Not if you voted for Republicans or stayed home. If you can't be bothered to even vote for your own health care, don't bother the rest of us with your problems.

...but it's the Republican Healthcare Plan!
