Repaired a windows XP installation, now takes like 3 extra minutes to bootup

Anyone who wants to figure out this problem is gonna need some more background info. Why did you have to repair it, and any details or error messages please?
 
Did you install all the updates and service packs?

Had the same problem here. System was xp pro sp2 and some updates.
After the repair the system was xp sp1 (slow startup)
so I updated the system and it was back to normal.
