If I boot from the W2K CD and choose the REPAIR option will I loose my files and settings? Is it safe to use repair without backing up?


What if I reinstall W2k on top of W2k ( not a clean install) will I loose all my data?

I posted this in the OS forum but no reply. It's urgent that is why I am posting here. Please advice .

 
Yes the repair option is safe, u will not lose your data or settings (well MIGHT lose SOME settings, but very minimal)...
