Why isn't the tape just evidence. If i came to your home and beat the everliving shit out of yo uand it was taped, would it be evidence that you set it up?

Except the tape hasn't been released, to anyone. So actually, "it" isn't evidence. What we have so far is her word.

He does also have a point about how the tape was made. Her story has her deciding to tape him on the phone she was holding when he walked into the room. She couldn't have taken a video of him covertly, not with him standing right there. It doesn't make sense.

Wait, so the tape that no one knows what it contains confirms his story even though we don't know that it contains? Her story of recording his abuse holds up you fucking imbecile, his story that he had to attack her because she was recording him doesn't make any sense what so ever.

And yes the video is released to the court which makes it official record, I've seen it and you have not and yet you insist that I'm wrong?

Per your language alone I deduce that you are a member of the court in some fashion. So trust me when I tell you this, what is testimony outside of court still counts as evidence.

I never said anything about a tape confirming his story. And where did he say he "had to attack her" because she was making a tape? No idea where you even got that from. The only thing Ellison has said is that the incident didn't happen.

I’m in agreement something doesn’t add up. Most importantly why was she taping him. But the D party looks to be responding in the best way they can. It’s just a brave new world we live in since #metoo where zero evidence is required to ruin careers, accusations are all it takes. I give the women the benefit of the doubt but at the same time I don’t like the idea of torpedoing careers via social media based on accusations either.​

I am looking forward to seeing if a tape shows up (that apparenrly has been seen exclusively by the accuser, her son, and our very own Josephus) and legal action is taken. But I may now be more interested in seeing what happens with our newest member posting in this thread. It is apparent that "he" has been perusing threads based on the personal attacks levied against members and "his" knowledge of some of our dysfunctional community. Maybe an alt?
