She says that after he had yelled at her the previous night, he came into the bedroom when she was listening to a podcast on her phone. When he started yelling at her this time, she set the phone to secretly record.

It's a little unclear how she could do that in the spur of the moment and have him not notice. She could have set it to audio record, but to get a video she would have had to place the phone in such a way as to capture what he was doing.

I don't think anyone can really assess her credibility unless or until she chooses to release the alleged video.
