Perhaps Cheney is helping Obama by reminding the American people just how much worse the previous administration was. Vampire seems like an apt term for him (though traitor might be more accurate). Is there a specific word for a treasonous vampire?

If our OP had hoped to drum up at little outrage at Greyson's insult of Dick Cheney, it certainly look like an epic fail.

But for what is worth, I do not think Dick Cheney is a vampire, its more of a case of Cheney being a international war criminal. a traitor to this great nation, and a serial liar to boot.

On the contrary Grayson is my hero and I agree with Cheney being a war criminal. I just have to laugh at the lengths either side will go to bash the opposing party.

And let us not forget: Cheney was a total incompetent who thought that fighting an utterly useless war in Iraq was so important that we essentially abandoned Afghanistan.

Last time I checked the left thought the draft and the Vietnam war itself was unjust and Obama never served as well. I assume you think Obama is a scumbag as well? :roll:

Obama was 14 when Vietnam ended. Besides, the US cannot draft foreign nationals into military service.

His criticism of Obama now are breathtaking, not for their accuracy, but for their inappropriateness. If Cheney actually wanted to influence our nation's policies he would do what every other former President and Vice President have done. He would meet with the policy makers in the current administration and relay his points. Cheney's rolodex is filled with generals and Congress people. The fact that he is making his point in public shows that his intent is to embarrass rather than to influence. To protect his legacy rather than to join the work of trying to get things right.
