Renting tux for my wedding, is Mens Wearhouse reliable?

Wife is picky what the groomsmen, fathers and I wear. My plan is either to rent a tux for myself from Mens Wearhouse and the rest from Tuxedo Warehouse (part of Tuxedo Junction) to save money ($100 vs $120 ea for 5 others tux). Or rent everything from Mens.

I heard horror stories of mistakes they made in the past like wrong size, wrong vest, etc. Any opinions of MW rental in general? My Suits are from them and one is perfect and the other is alright but good value.

I've had good experiences with men's warehouse. I've used them twice. One time, I got fitted in my hometown, then picked up the tux in a city across the country. Went great.

Go extra early.. they told me that everything comes and goes back to texas..

we went 1 month before wedding, 1 tux came the morning of the wedding day...
we had to wait till that tux show up to take pics and luckily they pick it up from fedex since it wasn't on fed sat delivery.

I didn't have any problems when my brother in law rented from them or when I bought a suit from them for a job interview.

Their dress shirts are overpriced, though.

my brother set things up for his wedding with Men's Wearhouse a few years back. my father and i came in to be sized about a month before the event and picked it up a few days before the wedding. we didn't have any issues and his groomsmen, who came from other parts of the country and picked up their tux, didn't have any issues i was aware of.

everyone has issues with stores...Men's Wearhouse is a popular choice here. Although whenever I go for a tux I'd rather pay a little more for a smaller shop that deals direct.

Ask Men's Warehouse if they will do the "Rent 4 tuxes, get one free" deal. They advertise it all the time at bridal shows.

I have rented from both S&K and Men's Warehouse.

I had good experiences from both but I liked the customer service at S&K a little better.

I rented all the tuxes for my wedding through MW. The last person went in for sizing two weeks prior to the wedding. All of the tuxes showed up 3 days before the wedding, no issues.

Thanks for the feedback, I know usually only unsatisfied customers post, and since MW is big, they will get more of that. Glad to hear positive stories.

This is what I was thinking. When I got married, I didn't have to pay for my tux because the groom's tux was free with the other rentals.

I've been there once, and will never go back. Too cheap/tacky for my tastes

(the store at least, haven't had much experience with the clothing)

i did a destination wedding, got fitted in a MW at home and was supposed to pick up the tux at the destination the day before the wedding. No problems, everything was the way it was supposed to be and there at the right time.

Another vote of confidence for them, my brother used them for his wedding and I have bought 2 suits there. All great experiences.

i have bought all my suits there. The great thing is that you get free fittings for life (unless you try to do teh fitting your self). If you get fat, they adjust it for free.

That is human error, can happen at any tux shop.

Bulk tux renting should be negotiable, ESPECIALLY at a mom and pop shop. Not sure how negotiable MW is but they have silly promos such as rent 4 get one free.

Got fitted in one and picked it up from another, no issues at all. I have also purchased a suit from them and I was happy.
