I'm looking to Rent an Office in the Boston area (small office) just for myself. I tried craigslist, but can't find much. I know there are companies out there that exist just for this type of purpose, and I'm sure there's other places to find an office rental (an average businessman looking to rent a spare office in his building may not try craigslist first, for instance).

Anyone know where I may have better luck?

My mom used to work for a huge nationwide company that did just this. I can't think of the name though :(

From my experience it can be difficult to lease office space under 2,000 square feet. Also keep in mind almost all office space leases are a minimum of two years but are usually 3-5 years.

Yeah. I'm just looking for someone who has an extra desk to rent out. I need a place to work other than home.

I rent a desk in an open plan office for £400 a month with phone and net included. It works well when I've got plenty of work coming in but when I don't it's just a useless expense...

Yeah well, this would work perfect for me if I could find something like it in Boston.

I just went through this in the Milwaukee area (in fact I worked with TallBill's mom a bit)
ended up just drving around the area(s) I considered and foudna bunch that just had signs up.
I didn't want a office in a "complex" I wanted my own space that I could just show up as I wanted, dressed as I wanted and not feel obliged to look professional since I was in a professional building.

Look for "Executive Offices". Premier Business Centers is one of the nation's largest.

Why not post for a "Wanted" advertisement?
