Renting a truck @ homedepot

Depends on the location, they vary prices around the country. You'd have to go in and ask, but renting a small dump for a full day will cost a few hundred bucks, a van for a day is like $100 or something.

Zim FTW. I rented a HD truck so that I could pick up an HDTV the day before the Superbowl last year and I think it was like $22 an hour or something like that...pretty acceptable fee and it was well worth it. They're pretty lax on the timing, so if it's just to move one thing, they'll understand.

This will probably the only time i ever suggest this, but find a U-Haul place. Some of them rent pickups for $20 a day or so.

i think it was 20 dollars an hour or something and you have to go back with proof that u filled gas back to full.

Ya i believe i paid $15/hr to haul a bunch of ceramic tiles to my house. That was about 3 years ago though, so im assuming the price went up. But, if you're doing a quick delivery to your house, it's well worth it

Agreed. U Haul gets a bad wrap but I've rented from them 3 times and never had a problem.

I would rather rent a U Haul pickup or van for $19.95 per day.
